Federal and state laws concerning wages have evolved over the years and the rules can be difficult to understand. Wage and hour laws are meant to protect employees. Our speaker will give real-world examples of wage and hour challenges and how you can solve them. She has worked in the Wage and Hour Unit for over 13 years, four years as an auditor for Uninsured Employer’s Fund (employers not covered with work comp), two years with the Contractor Registration Program and Independent Contractor Central Unit and two years with Unemployment Insurance Division.
