| Dec 7 Tree of Lights Celebration for Lives Remembered |
Remembering a loved one can be especially challenging during the holidays. Home Options Hospice at Kalispell Regional Healthcare invites the community to the 25th annual Tree of Lights celebration. The special celebration of life is scheduled for Sunday, December 7, in the Conference Center at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. The event begins at 4 p.m. and is free of charge. Complimentary valet parking will also be available.
“This year’s Tree of Lights ceremony offers a wonderful experience for those remembering loved ones,” says Jan Seelye, Tree of Lights event coordinator, KRH Home Options Hospice.
Those attending will share in an afternoon that features music, a presentation of photographs and names of those being remembered, and a chance to fellowship with families, hospice staff, and volunteers. All attendees will have an opportunity to take part in a meaningful tree lighting ceremony during the program.
To have your loved one remembered during this special program, please e-mail a photo to homesupport@krmc.org. Be sure to clearly indicate his or her name. If you do not have a photo, please contact us to have your loved one’s name listed in the program. Submissions also can be mailed to Jan Seelye c/o Home Options Hospice, 275 Corporate Drive, Suite 600, Kalispell, MT 59901. All submissions must be received by November 27.
Proceeds from this event benefit the Home Options Hospice fund through the Kalispell Regional Healthcare Foundation. Donations support the care of hospice patients who are unable to cover costs. For more information on the event, call (406) 751-6930. |

| Dec 13 Stumptown Quilters' Society Monthly Meeting |
Stumptown Quilters' Society (SQS) is to create, stimulate, and maintain an interest in the making, collecting, and the preservation of quilts. Each year SQS members make quilts for the needs of the local community. We also make donations to various local charities, and/or participate in other community outreach projects, as needed.
SQS provides classes, workshops, and an annual Retreat (at a reasonable or no cost to members)
Membership is open to anyone interested in any form of quilting and/or anyone interested in learning the art of quilting. Beginners Welcome.
SQS meetings are held on the Second Saturday of the month at 10:am, in the Whitefish Middle School Board Room. SQS is a non-profit community organization, and member of the Whitefish Chamber of Commerce.
Membership dues are paid annually. Our monthy Newsletter is e-mailed or sent out prior to each meeting.
Regardless of your quilting level, we invite you to join us each month for a brief business meeting, snacks, instruction, demonstrations, and a couple of hours devoted to the love of quilting. Bring your sewing machine, & supplies, for our monthly project and your quilt items for "Show & Tell" |

| Every year the 495th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion of the Montana Army National Guard hosts a FREE Christmas at Our House dinner. This year's dinner will be held on Saturday, December 13th, from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm at the Kalispell Armed Forces Reserve Center, 29898 Highway 93 North in Kalispell. This dinner traditionally provides everyone in our community a "FREE" turkey and ham dinner to help us celebrate the Holiday season. Santa will be making an appearance. |
