SQS provides classes, workshops, and an annual Retreat (at a reasonable or no cost to members)

Membership is open to anyone interested in any form of quilting and/or anyone interested in learning the art of quilting. Beginners Welcome.

Feb 21    Whitefish Review will host Chadwick at Crush Lounge ,

While the journal seeks submissions that look at the likes of Sasquatch and Montana's own Flathead Lake Monster, the editors encourage artists to dig deeper into the human soul. What monsters lurk inside us? How big and strange is creation anyway -- the real pageant of creatures? How does wilderness help us work with our own demons?

"In good literary fashion we stole this idea from our friend, author Douglas H. Chadwick," said Schott. "To make it up to him, we're going to celebrate his wild mind with a literary event about the rarest bears on the planet."
