Jun 13    Stumptown Quilters' Society Monthly Meeting
    Stumptown Quilters' Society (SQS) is to create, stimulate, and maintain an interest in the making, collecting, and the preservation of quilts.  Each year SQS members make quilts for the needs of the local community.      We also make donations to various local charities, and/or participate in other community outreach projects, as needed.
SQS provides classes, workshops, and an annual Retreat (at a reasonable or no cost to members)

    Membership is open to anyone interested in any form of quilting and/or anyone interested in learning the art of quilting. Beginners Welcome.
    SQS meetings are held on the Second Saturday of the month at 10:am, in the Whitefish Middle School Board Room. SQS is a non-profit community organization, and member of the Whitefish Chamber of Commerce.
    
Membership dues are paid annually. Our monthy Newsletter is e-mailed or sent out prior to each meeting.
    Regardless of your quilting level, we invite you to join us each month for a brief business meeting, snacks, instruction, demonstrations, and a couple of hours devoted to the love of quilting. Bring your sewing machine, & supplies, for our monthly project and your quilt items for "Show & Tell"

Relay for Life Fundraiser

Raise funds and awareness to save lives from cancer and pay homage to survivors by gaining pledges and walking or running around the track, either individually or as a relay team. This year the separate towns have combined for this unified event at the Flathead County Fairgrounds

Jun 20    Hockaday Museum of Art 8th Annual Plein Air Event
  Renowned artists will be painting in Glacier National Park, June 17-19, and then bringing in all of the works to the Hockaday for  sale at fixed prices. The 2015 Plein Air Party & Sale, to be held June 20 in the Hockaday's Centennial Pavilion tent, will be the most elaborate in the event's history.
