May 5    Whitefish Chamber of Commerce Luncheon-Glacier National Park Update

So what can we expect in Glacier this summer … and in years to come?  The Park is already working on a long-term plan to manage the popular Going-to-the-Sun highway corridor.  How’s that coming along … and what type of restrictions or limitations are being considered to protect – and enhance – the Glacier experience?

Park Superintendent Jeff Mow will discuss all that and more at the May 5 Chamber luncheon, focusing his attention on what’s in store this season in Glacier National Park, and how neighboring communities – like Whitefish – can take some of the “summer heat” off the Park by better promoting their attractions, amenities and events to park visitors.
