Birthing is one of the most athletic events most women will experience in their lifetime, and showing up unprepared can often lead to undesirable outcomes. This prenatal talk is designed to empower expectant parents with knowledge, support, and confidence for the birthing process.

Knowledge is power, and it is one of my goals to help empower women through their pregnancy to avoid unnecessary intervention and achieve the birth they desire. Having knowledge about how the baby moves through the pelvis and how mama can move throughout labor to assist baby can reduce pain and labor times.

On Saturday, March 9th, 2024, at 10:00 AM (Mountain Standard Time), we invite you to join Dr. Kailey at Nature Baby Outfitter as she gives insight into techniques for relaxation, breathing exercises, and pain management. We will delve into the importance of nutrition, exercise, and self-care during pregnancy, providing you with the tools to make informed choices for you and your baby's well-being. Working proactively during pregnancy on pelvic and pelvic floor balance can also make pregnancy more comfortable, enjoyable, and the birth process less painful and lengthy.

MY GLACIER VILLAGE HOSTS COFFEE & CONVERSATIONS

My Glacier Village is helping area seniors make their plan about where and how they want to age, and subsequently, implement it. The organization serves area seniors, many who are opting to age in their own homes. Founded in 2019, our local Village was literally created BY seniors, FOR seniors, who want to stay active and engaged in their lives and know they can rely on each other when they need a little help.

My Glacier Village is a local chapter of the nationwide Village-to-Village Network that began on the east coast in 2002. It was led by a group of seniors who had watched their own parents age and did not want to be limited or marginalized as their parents were. They created the concept of neighbors helping neighbors as they aged. 

Statistically, our society is rapidly aging in America, and people are living longer than ever.  Ten thousand Americans are turning 65 every day, and by 2030, baby boomers and older are on track to outnumber youth for the first time in history. Society is not ready!  My Glacier Village is striving to change the conversations around aging!

Using a very personal and emotional form of writing that stems from unique life experiences, she weaves together stories and sentiments which are usually birthed deep in the wild mountains of MT.
