During the month of August, Haskill Creek will be donating $1 from every sale to the Backpack Assistance Program. The BAP's mission is to improve the physical, social, and emotional wellbeing of school age community members that are subject to food insecurity. They provide nutritious supplemental food to kids and teens during the weekend and school closure days.
Our goal is to raise $1800 (the program currently requires $900/week to run) to help support the cause during the month of August.
On August 21, board members from the Backpack Assistance Program will be in-store at Haskill Creek from 1-5PM, and we'll be donating $2/sale all day long. Come learn about the program, be entered to win a great raffle, try samples, and support a great cause.
