American Bank is a locally owned and operated Montana bank. We're proud to have served Montanans for more than 75 years.
Whitefish is shaped by its proximity to the great outdoors, from brew pubs to ski shops to banks. We opened our Whitefish branch in 1995 and it took off thanks to our expertise in resort, construction and real estate lending. We believe that our customer base is our priority and deserves the very best that our bank has to offer.
Our bankers are part of our communities. We serve on nonprofit boards and volunteer for local causes. We hike on local trails and fish local waters. Because of this, we have the nuanced understanding it takes to customize our products and services to our customers' needs.
