About Us
We are a non-profit organization (run by parents) that raises funds to carry out two special events for Whitefish High School seniors each year in an effort to make their graduation festivities safe and memorable.
Safe Grad Night is a tradition that provides a safe night and an alcohol/drug-free graduation celebration for the Whitefish High School senior class. The lock-in event, typically held from 10pm-2am, gives the seniors a chance to extend their graduation day with a fun night of continuous activities, lots of prizes/giveaways, and plenty of food! It gives parents peace of mind, knowing their kids are enjoying themselves and are safe. The event is typically held at The Wave in Whitefish, on the Saturday night following graduation. Please see Safe Grad Night Information for further details.
We also put on a Baccalaureate event the Friday evening before graduation each year. This is an optional, non-denominational religious celebration and blessing, honoring the graduating class. This ceremony is usually less formal than the traditional graduation. The event may present student musicians, have inspirational speakers from the community, and share a senior slideshow with pictures of the graduating seniors.
About Us
In 2015, Whitefish Safe Grad Night was officially re-established as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, which allows donors to declare donations on their taxes.
